Step 2: Design & Pre-Construction

Every design starts with a vision, and pre-construction is the process to bring it to life. Together, we analyze options and alternatives, hone our master schedule, form partnerships and establish a fixed price point throughout construction. Just tell us which direction you want to take, and we’ll find the best way to make it happen.

Step 3: Construction

Construction is something that’s in our nature, and we won’t stop until your project is a success. We approach each development with the idea of shared ownership and continuous improvement, so every contributing party has a vested interest in seeing it succeed. Rain or shine, delays or restrictions, we’ll stay on task to deliver a solution that’s within budget and on time.

Step 4: Self-perform Work

When it comes to construction, we find the best way to achieve success is to go above and beyond for our clients. Taking the client service experience one step further, we offer the option to self-perform our clients’ rough carpentry work, finish carpentry/detail work and labor. Thanks to our upwards of 100 expert carpenters, detailers and laborers at hand, we can supply purchased lumber, stronger price certainty, lower costs, stricter schedule control and a higher level of quality.

While our estimating department manages take-offs of our self-perform work, we do accept subcontractors’ bids as well. Our policy is to use the lowest bid in pricing a job, which allows us to remain competitive regardless of market conditions.

Step 5: Warranty / Quality Assurance

UC Construction strives for the highest standards in warranty and post-closing service. From the beginning of any project to well after it’s completed, we’re there to guide clients through comprehensive insurance policies, compiling detailed project warranty documents and/or assembling all SB 800 documents for residential communities. Once we close the door and hand off the keys, you can rest assured that a comprehensive warranty plan is in place.

In the tradition of putting client satisfaction first, our dedicated warranty and service department team makes it a top priority to respond to any service requests or quality issues that surface after construction is completed.
